Whopper Island

There’s an island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, about two thirds of the way from Madagascar to Antarctica. 1.2 squared kilometers of nature sanctuary, uninhabited, it is home to an active volcano. This magnificent place with real breathing fire has a major flaw: Its name.

Ahhhh, the audacity. A place with real fire cannot be called McD*n@#d$.

So Burger King decided this couldn’t stand. We invited people everywhere to join us in occupying the island, and of course, everyone who did got a delicious, flame-grilled Whopper. The response was massive, and together we gave the island the only name worthy of its fire: Whopper Island.
